SEASONAL WORK IN HASTINGS. Lots of jobs available now at Eco Lodge. The main harvest season has not started yet but already we have loads of work for immediate start. - Plant nursery needs 2 people to start Monday 29th January for two weeks minimum. Work for two months or more. $17/hour for 40 to 50 hours/week. - Plant nursery needs 4 more people to start Tuesday 30th Jan for at least a week. $17/hour as above. - Honey extraction jobs for 3 people. Does involve some work with bees. Mix of inside factory, outside plus driving to visit hives in orchards and farms. Need own car. $17/hour. - Laying orchard reflector panels to reflect the sun so fruit ripens evenly. Hard work at very good money. 60 hours/week at $19.44 hour. Immediate start. Need to be available for at least a month. Work available until May. - Factory jobs in canning and frozen food processing. Start now at $17/hour for indoors work. 40 to 48 hours/week. - Several different blueberry farms recruiting pickers again for start 29th January. Hourly or production pay.
Soon is main harvest season. - Packhouses for apples and other fruit are recruiting now but work will start about 5th or 8th January with the harvest. Jobs run Feb >July so need to be available for a few months. Indoors, long hours at $17/hour. You need to apply NOW! - Apple picking will be early February. You need to be fit and want to make money, outdoors in the orchards. Paid on production. Picking Feb >May. - Grape picking from March. - Kiwifruit will be April >May.

Guys when u wanna work in a good pack house in hastings and u have ur own transport (little bit outside) go in person to the office of crasborn fresh harvest Ltd. And fill in the application form. Absolutely fair, no scam, nice people and a lot of hours. Can absolutely recommend to work for this company (and guaranteed 60 hours a week until May, u get fully payed on public holidays (they normally shut the pack house for those days).

Main harvest season is here. Apple picking and packhouse work. Blueberries still picking and final vineyard netting work to protect the grapes for March-April harvest. Even some vine tying on kiwifruit properties. Very easy to get work in Hastings for the next three months or more.

If you were here today you could work today. Next week there will be work but no guarantee you will be able to start immediately. January work includes the last of the apple thinning, blueberry picking, early nectarine & peach picking, vineyard leaf-plucking and netting, as well as plant nursery and casual work in juice and mineral water factories etc. In February the main harvest will start with apples, but no date.
