Facilities

Our Hastings backpacker lodge has all the accommodation and facilities a backpacker needs to have an enjoyable stay.

Rooms
Accommodation in dorms, share rooms, twin/double, private cabins. Some rooms with en suite bathrooms, others with share bathrooms.

Kitchen and BBQ Areas
Large fully equipped self-catering kitchens are available to guests; complete with pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, and other bits and pieces. There are indoor dining areas as well as seating and BBQ areas on the outside decks and picnic tables among the trees.

Laundry
Washing machines are free to use. Dryers are coin operated – $2 per dryer load. There are large outdoor clotheslines for guests to use. Irons and ironing boards are also available.

Storage of Valuables/Luggage
A secure lock-up room is available for guests to store luggage/bikes at no extra charge. Valuables can be left safe and secure at our office while you venture out and explore around Hawke’s Bay.

Internet
We have Wi-Fi internet available. This is a free allowance to guests (Zenbu system).
